From Richland County, South Carolina, WEEVIL EMPIRE plays a broad variety of music best described as Americana and Folk, with a focus on acoustic instrumentation and buzzy close harmony vocals. The band was formed by Dorothy Kendall and John Wetzel as an Old Time and Classic Country vocal duo who also play Country Blues, Vintage Pop, and Traditional Celtic music. With the addition of Bluegrass bass player Kevin Borgstedt, things have gotten even more interesting.
